What it is

The whole camera rises or lowers vertically, keeping its angle.

When to use it

Small changes in eye height, such as from seated to standing.

When not to

When you need a big rise over the whole scene (use a crane).

• Tilt

  A tilt changes the angle, not the height.

• Crane

  A crane travels much further and usually tilts as well.
